Medical begins: Everton finalise Conor Coady signing after Wolves green light – sources
Conor Coady started an Everton medical on Sunday after Wolves accepted their bid, sources have told Football Insider.
The centre-back, 29, is expected to join on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.
Everton are confident the deal will be completed soon and that Coady will be available to play in their next game against Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Merseysiders have moved to recruit their second centre-back signing of the summer after two of their senior defenders broke down in the weekend defeat to Chelsea.
Ben Godfrey suffered a broken leg that rules him out for at least three months and injury-ravaged Yerry Mina also limped out of the match.
Manager Frank Lampard gave the green light to pursuing Coady as he wants an experienced Premier League centre-back capable of playing in a back three.
He used that system against Chelsea, with summer signing James Tarkowski lining up alongside Mina and Godfrey at the back.
Mason Holgate and Michael Keane, both regular starters in recent seasons, were notable omissions from the starting line-up.
Coady had been axed by Wolves for their opening-day defeat to Leeds United as manager Bruno Lage preferred an orthodox back four.
The defender is expected to be one of three Goodison Park arrivals this week.

The Blues have already confirmed the £33.7m capture of Lille midfielder Amadou Onana.
Everton are also close to finalising a deal to bring Paris Saint-Germain’s midfield star Idrissa Gana Gueye back to the club he left in 2019, with an agreement reached in principle.
