Everton could get Jack Grealish ‘deal done’, this is the likely price

Everton would seal a great deal if they could sign Jack Grealish for £20million in the summer transfer window.

That is according to football finance expert Dr Dan Plumley, who has exclusively told Football Insider that £20m would be a “good price” for Grealish.

Man City could accept £20m for Grealish once his loan spell at Everton expires, with the 30-year-old not part of Pep Guardiola’s plans.

Grealish is likely to permanently move to Everton, with the Merseyside club his preferred destination following a successful loan spell so far.

Everton backed to agree Jack Grealish deal

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Plumley believes £20m for Grealish is a fair price in the current transfer market.

“I think for Everton, if we’re talking in those terms and if it is that price tag, given the market conditions and what players are moving forward nowadays, and where we’ve seen that sort of inflation in the middle of the market, I think that’s a really good price tag for Everton” Plumley said.

“I know he’s not in the best run of form at the minute, but, you know, the talent’s there. And, obviously, he’s valued by the management and the coaching set up there, and he seems to be enjoying himself.

“So I think if you’re Everton and you do want to get that deal done, I think £20m in the summer is a good price for, you know, for that player at the minute in terms of where Everton are at.

Jayden Bogle reveals clear transfer stance

In January, Everton boss David Moyes has his sights set on signing a new right-back, which has been a problem position this season.

However, Leeds defender Jayden Bogle has no desire to leave the club amid interest from Everton in the 25-year-old.

Leeds also do not want to sell Bogle, who has been a key part of Daniel Farke’s side this season, having started 19 of their 21 Premier League games.
