Everton expected 4-4-2 v West Ham: Attacker axed as Unsworth makes three changes
Goalkeeper and defence
Jordan Pickford (Goalkeeper) – Even though he has conceded four goal in his last game, the young goalkeeper is still one of Everton’s best summer signings and should keep his place in the team.
Cuco Martina (Left-back) – With Baines ruled out, Martina will have do his best at left-back. The 28-year-old is naturally a right-back but Everton lack a replacement for Baines.
Ashley Williams (Centre-back) – The defender has underperformed this season and garnered a lot of critisim, but he is expected to start in light of Keane’s injury.
Phil Jagielka (Centre-back) – The captain will be looking to up his performance in this crucial match, with Unsworth calling on his senior players to step up after the Southampton defeat.
Jonjoe Kenny (Right-back) – The 20-year-old was forced to play on the left side of defence after Baines went off against Southampton and was clearly uncomfortable. The defender is expected to move back into his preferred position against the Hammers.
