Everton fans: Beto ‘is leaving’ as new airport image emerges
Everton fans are convinced Beto will be leaving the club this month after he posed for a picture with a supporter at the airport.
The image emerged on social media and immediately set tongues wagging amongst the supporters who believe he may be jetting out to complete his departure.
This comes after Football Insider revealed in October that the Portuguese forward is keen to leave Goodison Park in search of first-team football this winter.
Sources say Everton will consider the striker’s exit if they receive a fee close to the £25.75million they paid Udinese for his signature in August 2023.
Beto, 26, has featured 51 times since moving to Merseyside, but has found the net on just seven occasions in that time, causing plenty of frustration amongst the fans.
So far this season, he has started just one of his 12 Premier League appearances as Dominic Calvert-Lewin remains the first-choice centre-forward under Sean Dyche, with Armando Broja also playing a part.
Now, fans are convinced he is looking to move on during this month’s transfer window, with the new image sparking speculation.

Beto has been subject to plenty of speculation about his long-term future at Goodison Park given his lack of impact on Dyche’s first-team plans.
This comes at a time when the team is crying out for a clinical striker, having found the net just once from open play in their last ten league games.
As the image did the rounds on social media, fans are convinced Beto “is gone” as they prepare for the latest transfer rumours surrounding his future.
