Everton fans furious as they say the same thing about Nottingham Forest sacking Sean Dyche

Sean Dyche’s sacking at Nottingham Forest has caused confusion among much of the Everton fanbase.

The former Toffees manager was dismissed at the City Ground on Thursday, just 114 days into his reign, despite the Reds being above the drop zone.

With Dyche earning the reputation of being able to keep sides in the Premier League, something he managed to achieve against the odds at Everton, his departure has been widely condemned.

Now, some Toffees fans are even hopeful that Forest go down as Evangelos Marinakis hunts for his fourth permanent manager of the season.

Everton fans want Nottingham Forest to go down after Sean Dyche sacking

While Dyche had little support from the Nottingham Forest fanbase by the time of his dismissal, many outsiders remained puzzled by the decision.

By all accounts, the manager was on track to do what he always does – avoid relegation.

Yet, after a recent poor set of results, Marinakis had seen enough, with the 0-0 draw against Wolves proving to be the final blow.

While Dyche had few supporters left at Goodison Park by the point of his sacking last season, many Everton fans are simply appalled at how their former manager has been treated at the City Ground.

However, other Toffees supporters were more sympathetic to the sacking, believing that Marinakis was in the right about the decision, and it was the best for the club going forward.

Where could Dyche end up next?

Despite only leaving Nottingham Forest on Thursday, Dyche has plenty of potential destinations should he want to quickly return to the dugout.

Leicester City currently have a vacancy in the Championship, with the bookies already making him a favourite for the role.

The Foxes are currently in a relegation battle themselves, with their six-point deduction helping to plunge them down into 21st in the table.

Dyche could easily make a return to Burnley in the near future too. The Clarets is where the manager made his name as he kept the Lancashire side in the Premier League for numerous years.

With Scott Parker currently under heavy pressure, a dismissal for the former Tottenham star could see them look towards their former coach to take them forward and help return Burnley to form.
