Expert salutes ‘major coup’ for Frank Lampard as Everton agree ex-Real Madrid man deal
New head of sports science Jack Nayler looks like a major coup for Everton given his experience at some of football’s biggest clubs.
That is the view of medical expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in injury and data analysis.
Highly-rated operator Nayler has over a decade of experience in the sports science industry.

He has worked for Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Celtic, and RB Leipzig during that time, and he can now add Everton to his salubrious CV.
As relayed by Training Ground Guru last Thursday (22 September), Nayler will head up the Toffees’ sports science department with immediate effect.
Everton have been without a sports science chief since Jamie Harley was ousted alongside Rafael Benitez in January.
Dinnery suggests that Nayler’s glittering CV bodes well for the Merseysiders.
“It’s an impressive resume,” he told Football Insider’s Adam Williams.
“You don’t get an opportunity to work at so many top clubs without picking up some real good habits and knowledge.

“We know that football is a results-based business. On paper, it appears to be a major coup for Everton, but the ultimate litmus test will be how the backroom staff goes on to take them to the next level.
“But, yes, it looks like a really good recruit for them. Hopefully, for supporters, he is another piece of the jigsaw to help Frank Lampard realise his Everton dream.”
