Everton have a huge issue at right-back with Seamus Coleman's lengthy injury and Cuco Martina's poor form proving that the Merseyside club need to invest in that area of the pitch.

Sam Allardyce may not be in charge of the Toffees so director of football Steve Walsh may have to guide the ship in the early parts of the summer transfer window, and he absolutely must go out and beat Tottenham in the reported race to sign Montpellier right-back Nordi Mukiele.

Mukiele is the perfect age to be an understudy to Coleman for one or two years before exploding on to the scene.

If he was to move to Spurs, he would be behind Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier unless one leaves, but Everton will be able to coax him to Goodison Park with the promise of more first-team football with Coleman aging and Martina nowhere near good enough and likely to be sold.

Mukiele has been in stunning form for Montpellier this season as the club sits sixth in the La Liga standings.

The next step for him is to move to a bigger club and Everton can provide him with the perfect platform to maybe one day break into the France senior squad.
