Everton news: Danny Mills issues ‘incredible’ Farhad Moshiri claim after ‘100%’ Kieran Maguire reveal
Everton fans should not worry about the financial impact of a potential relegation because of the “incredibly rich” Farhad Moshiri, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Leeds United and England full-back backed Everton to return to the Premier League immediately “if the worst happens”.
Finance guru Kieran Maguire told this site today (11 March) he is “100 per cent” sure the club will not be hit with a points deduction this season for breaching FFP rules despite recent speculation.

Even without a points deduction, the Toffees are hovering just a point above the relegation zone but they have played fewer games than those sides below them.
The Telegraph reported on Tuesday (8 March) the players do not have significant relegation clauses in their contract.
Asked whether fans should be worried about the club’s finances, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “They’ve got an incredibly rich owner who has pumped a lot of money into the club.
“If the worst does happen and they do go down, I would look at it a bit like Newcastle when they went down and kept a lot of their big hitters.
“At the time they couldn’t get rid of them because they were on such big money. They were almost forced to keep them and won the league at a canter.
“I have half a feeling there could be a similar situation at Everton if the worst was to happen.

“They keep hold of a lot of their players and they’d be up fairly quickly, I would suggest.
“Newcastle kept the likes of Nolan, Barton and their nucleus was a Premier League side.”
