Everton news: Expert ‘100 per cent’ sure on Jordan Pickford quitting after Athletic update
Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford will re-evaluate his future at Goodison Park at the end of the season.
That is the view of ex-Tottenham and England number one Paul Robinson, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 28-year-old’s form and situation on Merseyside.
Frank Lampard’s side are deep in a relegation battle following a torrid run of form in 2022.

According to The Athletic (17 March), only some of Everton’s players have relegation clauses in their contracts.
The Toffees are already in a precarious situation financially so a mass exodus would be expected if they were to drop down to the Championship.
According to the Daily Mail (8 March), Pickford earns in the region of £100,000-a-week at Goodison Park.
His contract runs until the summer of 2024.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his thoughts on the future of England number one, Robinson said: “I really like Pickford.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he considers his future if they finish in and around the bottom of the league this season.

“If they are relegated I’m 100 per cent certain that he moves. I even think he’d probably look to move on if Everton are looking at another season in the bottom half of the Premier League.
“This is England’s number one we are talking about, I don’t think there would be a shortage of suitors for him. He’s a top-class goalkeeper.”
In other news, a pundit has claimed ‘Lampard is mistaken’ as he’s set to blow ‘last hope’ of keeping Everton in the Premier League.
