Everton news: Pundit raises dressing room fears ahead of ‘massive’ Leicester clash – ‘not again’
Alan Hutton has insisted Everton “are not out of the woods” ahead of “massive” games against Leicester City and Liverpool.
The former Scotland defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, admitted he still has fears over the Toffees’ mentality and consistency despite the win over Manchester United.
Everton secured a much-needed 1-0 win over Ralf Rangnick’s men last weekend and face Leicester and Liverpool in their next two games.

Speaking to Football Insider prior to the United game, Hutton questioned whether there was “enough fight” within the dressing room.
He has insisted the Toffees are still yet to convince him of their mental fortitude.
Asked if Everton had proven him wrong, Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “It was a great result but still not yet. They’re not out of the woods yet.
“I’ve been at their home games. The Leeds game, Everton absolutely blew them away. We’ve seen it happen before and then they’ve gone under. It can’t happen again, not again.
“The big ones are obviously the next couple of games. They’ve got Leicester and then Liverpool. Massive games coming up, difficult games.
“We’ll see how they do. It has to be consistent. There’s no point in having one excellent performance, where everybody hits the levels that are required at Everton, then you drop down to playing like a relegation team.
“You have to hold your standards high. The big question will be can you go and back it up now? The biggest thing is backing it up.

“We’ve seen that performance, Frank Lampard will over the moon to see his team get to that level. Even thought Man United were poor, it doesn’t matter, you have to beat who’s in front of you.
“But can you go and consistently perform at that high level under pressure? Because they are under pressure, they’re still in that fight.”
