Everton news: Pundit shares ‘huge’ pre-Tottenham prediction – ‘I’m absolutely convinced’
Everton will stay in the Premier League this season despite the lack of a new manager bounce under Frank Lampard.
That’s according to former West Ham hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Toffees’ form.
Lampard has lost three of his four Premier League games in charge of Everton.

His side briefly dropped into the relegation zone on Saturday (5 March) before Chelsea took the lead against Burnley.
Ahead of Monday’s game against Tottenham, the Blues sit in 17th, one place off the relegation zone.
Despite this, McAvennie is certain Everton will stay up.
“There is no doubt in my mind Everton will stay up,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They have some very good players there, they just need to get them all on the pitch at the same time.
“There are some real quality players there and they have two games in hand on Burnley don’t forget.
“Win both of those and they are laughing. I know that is easier said than done but I think they can do it.
“You also look at the teams around them. Leeds are tumbling and Norwich already look gone.
“So even if Everton don’t win, there are other teams who also aren’t winning.
“They have some huge games coming up but I’m absolutely convinced Everton will stay up.”

The Toffees are next in action against Tottenham on Monday night (7 March).
They then welcome Wolves to Goodison Park next weekend (13 March).
