Everton news: Pundit slams Allan and teammate after what he spotted – ‘they have no backbone’
Paul Robinson has claimed Everton have “no backbone” after a dismal 5-0 loss at Tottenham on Monday night.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-England number one slammed the Toffees’ body language after spotting Jordan Pickford and Allan “arguing with each other” during the defeat.
Frank Lampard’s side have the worst away record in the Premier League this season.

The Blues have won just once in 13 away matches, collecting a lowly six points from a possible 39.
Speaking to club media (7 March), Lampard slammed his side’s inconsistency and suggested there is a mentality issue in his squad.
When asked for his thoughts of Everton’s display at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Robinson told Football Insider: “You could see the body language wasn’t right.
“The players were arguing on the pitch. Jordan Pickford and Allan were arguing with each other. Pickford was trying to get the team going but it wasn’t working.
“There is no leadership there. As soon as they go a goal down they fold. They have no backbone.
“It was worrying watching them last night. Spurs were good but Everton were poor, let’s be honest.

“Their away record is damning. They need to start winning games.
“I don’t think they are going to go down. I just think they have got too much quality in those attacking areas. But make no mistake about it, the way they are losing games is worrying.”
