Everton news: Robinson issues three-word verdict on Tottenham signing Anthony Gordon after development
Paul Robinson suspects a Tottenham move for Anthony Gordon is dead in the water after Everton avoided relegation.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one cannot see where the 21-year-old would fit into Antonio Conte’s side.
According to The Telegraph‘s Mike McGrath (11 May), Spurs are interested in Everton trio Gordon, Richarlison and Ben Godfrey heading into the summer window.

Gordon helped the Toffees secure their Premier League status for the 2022-23 campaign on Thursday with a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace.
His contract at Goodison Park runs until the end of June 2025.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if there was value in Gordon moving to Spurs for either club, Robinson issued a three-word verdict: “Not for me.
“I can’t see that deal happening in all honesty, especially now Everton are safe.
“I can’t see Bergwijn going to Everton and I cannot see Gordon fitting in at Spurs.
“When you think about it, Spurs have got Son [Heung-min], [Harry] Kane, [Dejan] Kulusevski and Lucas Moura. He would be battling for a place with them. Does Gordon get ahead of them? Probably not as good as a player he is.
“I’m a big fan of his but I just can’t see it.”

Gordon has enjoyed an impressive season for Frank Lampard’s side.
He has contributed four goals and three assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.
