Everton player ratings v Liverpool: 28-year-old was a 4/10 disgrace
Goalkeeper and defenders
Jordan Pickford (Goalkeeper) – 6: Could do absolutely nothing about the finish by Mohamed Salah, no goalkeeper in the world could have saved that. Made a couple of decent saves, including a very brave one after a good ball in by Oxlade-Chamberlain. His distribution was very good.
Jonjoe Kenny (Right-back) – 7: A very solid defensive performance and what was always going to be a difficult afternoon for the Toffees defence. Got forward a few times and provided a couple of decent balls into the box.
Mason Holgate (Centre-back) – 6: A good performance. Made a couple of key tackles and interceptions.
Ashley Williams (Centre-back) – 5: Was beaten far too easily by Mane in the first half. An improved second-half display, made a few key challenges late on.
Cuco Martina (Left-back)- 4: Gave the Liverpool attackers too many space at times and struggled to cope with the pace of Mane and Salah.
