Everton player ratings v Liverpool: 28-year-old was a 4/10 disgrace
Midfielders
Wayne Rooney (Right Midfield) – 6: Really struggled on the right of midfield in the first half, looked a lot more comfortable when playing in a more central and attacking role after the break. Great pass to Calvert-Lewin who won the penalty. Showed great composure from the spot to get his side back into the game.
Idrissa Gueye (Centre-Midfielder) – 7: Found it difficult at times but you cannot fault his effort and commitment. Great work rate, always trying to make something happen. Was booked in the second half.
Tom Davies (Left Midfield) – 4: An afternoon to forget for the young man as Liverpool dominated the midfield. Gave the ball away far too often and was replaced at half-time by Aaron Lennon.
