Everton player ratings v West Brom: 4/10 defender must be dropped after horror show
Midfielders
Centre-Mid – Morgan Schneiderlin: 5/10 – Didn’t really offer much to the game, looked overwhelmed during the first half and picked up a booking in the second. Made better by the appearance of Rooney.
Centre-Mid – James McCarthy: 6/10 – Played really well until his horrific injury. The terrific piece of defedning that stopped Rondon from scoring could have cost him his season.
Centre-Attacking – Gylfi Sigurdsson: 6/10 – Looked isolated during the first half, could not link up with new boys Tosun and Walcott. Often held onto the ball for too long, came alive in the second half.
Left-Wing – Nikola Vlasic: 5/10 – Vlasic ran his socks off during the first half, but offered no attacking threat, Ben Foster was sad to see him leave the pitch, as Everton looked a lot better for Bolasie.
Right-Wing – Theo Walcott: 7/10 – Impressed on his debut, linked up play well throughout with his defenders, and delivered some wonderful balls into the box. He set up the equalising goal with a nice back post header.
Cenk Tosun saw his first Goodison Park action today, read on to find out how he performed…
