Everton player ratings v West Brom: 4/10 defender must be dropped after horror show
Attackers and substitutes
Striker – Cenk Tosun: 5/10 – It is going to take time for Tosun to adapt the the Premier League, so it is unfair to rate him too low. He made a few silly tackles and never looked like scoring during his 70 minute stint.
(Sub 46′) Left-Wing – Yannick Bolasie: 7/10 – Changed the game when he came on, made Everton a real threat going forward and shifted the momentum. Must start more games for Everton.
(Sub 62′) Centre-Mid – Wayne Rooney: 6/10 – Replaced the injured James McCarthy. Passed the ball well but did not have the pace to keep up with the West Brom counter attacks, as he gave away a couple of fouls in the late stages of the game.
(Sub 69′) Striker – Oumar Niasse: 7/10 – Scored within 60 seconds of being on the pitch, rubbing salt into Cenk Tosun’s wounds. Looked a threat when he had the ball.
In other Everton news, one Premier League club wants to take this forgotten Everton striker on loan until the end of the season.
