Everton tipped to be ‘most exciting club in Premier League’ after behind-the-scenes update – pundit
If Everton sort out their on-field problems, they will be one of the most exciting clubs to join in the Premier League.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after an update in the Toffees’ new stadium.
On Tuesday (21 December) The Athletic’s Patrick Boyland reported a “major milestone” in the development of the new Everton stadium.
As per Boyland, the first section of the concrete “super-structure” of the new Bramley-Moore Dock is now up.
The new stadium is set to hold 52,00 fans and could open as early as 2024.
Kenny insists Everton should feel positive about the future of their club.
“Everton, on the pitch, don’t look good,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Off the pitch, everything is going for them. They have an owner who is willing to invest.
“They have a world-class manager and a very loyal fanbase.
“Shortly they will be moving to a brand-new stadium and we all know how well that has gone for Tottenham.
“There is no reason why Everton can’t be the most exciting club in the league.
“If they can just sort out their squad, they are looking really good.
“That’s a reason for Everton fans to be positive, in my opinion.”

Everton’s clash against Burnley, set for Boxing Day, has been postponed.
This came after the Toffees were hit with Covid and injury issues.
