‘Everton to agree Dominic Calvert-Lewin deal after talks revealed’
Everton could be set to extend Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s stay beyond this season after he was previously expected to leave the club.
The 28-year-old, whose deal is set to expire on 30 June, made his first appearance since January in the 2-2 draw against Ipswich Town on Saturday (3 May) after recovering from a hamstring injury.
The forward has registered three goals and two assists in 23 appearances this season.
i News reported on 30 April Calvert-Lewin’s new representatives have been in contact with David Moyes recently and want to hold fresh talks over his future at the club.
Finance expert Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider Everton are likely to agree a new deal with Calvert-Lewin.
Borson previously told Football Insider Everton are set to undergo a “massive” rebuild due to the number of players out of contract at the end of this season.
There are 10 stars out of contract in June, while four loanees will return to their parent clubs if permanent deals fail to materialise over the coming weeks.

Everton facing ‘tricky’ situation after contract update
Borson insisted Everton are facing a “tricky” situation this summer with so many players out of contract.
He told Football Insider: “I think Calvert-Lewin is one of the players they are likely to re-sign.
“Look, who knows what Calvert-Lewin is worth.
“If you thought about how much it would cost in the market, even with this sort of patchy injury record and patchy form, it’d still cost if you were trying to bring him in £25-30million.
“I think they’re going to take a view that it’s just one that they should probably keep.
“I think there’ll be a few like that, and then at least you’ve got the core of a squad that you can build upon.
“They have got a lot that are out of contract, so I think to let them all go in one window is going to give them a big issue.
“That’s how I would see it, but you know it’s going to be very interesting to watch Everton.
“I think it’s quite a tricky puzzle for the summer.”
