Everton to complete ‘big’ Conor Coady signing imminently after update – pundit
Everton will sign Conor Coady as soon as they are able to after his barnstorming start to life at Goodison Park.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Coady, 29, has been a revelation for the Toffees since joining the club on loan from Wolves in the summer.

The Blues have the best defensive record in the league after conceding just seven goals and the England international has also already captained the club.
On Thursday (6 October), The Athletic reported Everton have the option to sign Coady for just £4.5million next summer.
Wenham insists Everton will look to tie up the deal as soon as possible.
“Credit to Lampard, he seems to be building something there,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They have bought proven Premier League players like Tarkowski and Coady at the back. McNeil and Gordon look really good.
“Onana has also settled in and he’s starting to look at home in the Premier League. They have recruited well and got the right characters in, that’s important.
“I think Coady is the big one, he has been excellent. That’s a signing Everton will try to make permanent as soon as possible, that’s obvious.
“Who knows what Everton can do this season? As long as they avoid a relegation battle then that is probably a good season.”

Coady has played 317 times across all competitions for Wolves and his contract there does not expire until the summer of 2025.
The Liverpool-born defender is the last remaining player from the side that won the Championship in the 2017-18 season still on the books at Molineux.
In other news, Farhad Moshiri is now ready to sell Everton after statement – ‘it’s big news’, says one pundit.
