Everton told they ‘might have to fight off bids’ for their ‘phenomenal’ player
David Moyes may have a difficult time keeping one Everton player at the club who is going to be attracting plenty of interest.
Jack Grealish’s arrival at Everton from Man City in the summer was a statement of intent from Moyes that he wanted to take the club to the next level upon moving to the new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Everton’s 2-0 defeat at Man City last time out though proved that Moyes still has plenty of work to do with his squad to close the gap on the best sides in the Premier League.
The Toffees sit comfortably in mid-table with a six-point cushion above the relegation zone, but a three-point gap between them and the European places.

Iliman Ndiaye could be subject to top six bids
Iliman Ndiaye was one of Everton’s best performers at Man City, and the 25-year-old has fast become one of Moyes’ most important players.
Pat Nevin, as per BBC Sport [21 October], thinks that top six clubs could be lining up a move for Ndiaye in the future.
“I often think of players who would be even more impressive playing with better sides, teams who have more of the ball and spend more time in the attacking third,” Nevin said.
“Watching Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye so far this season, I suspect he could do a phenomenal job if he was playing for Manchester City, Chelsea or Arsenal, he is that good.

”I hope he stays at the Toffees but they might have to fight off bids from the bigger boys soon. Notice I don’t mention Liverpool in the shortlist.
”This is not because he isn’t capable but I would rightly have an Evertonian lynch mob after me if I suggested such a thing!“
Ndiaye only joined Everton last summer from Marseille in a £15million move, so any future sale is likely to earn the club a good profit.

David Moyes looking to tie down key stars
Moyes is building for the future at Everton, with the likes of Jordan Pickford’s contract extension showing ambition at the club.
James Garner and Vitalli Mykolenko are the next players that Everton want to secure to long-term deals.
Securing the permanent transfer of Grealish though may be financially out of reach unless the 30-year-old takes a wage cut.
However, it is Ndiaye whom the club should be working to tie down to fend off future interest, with the midfielder’s creativity and goals a key part of Moyes’ side.
