Everton must complete Kenny Tete deal, 75% and 80% stats are telling

Fulham's Kenny Tete could finally be the one to solve the ongoing right-back crisis at Everton this summer.

David Moyes' side have been linked with several names, including Aston Villa' Matty Cash, Barcelona's Hector Fort and Guela Doue of Strasbourg.

Crystal Palace star Daniel Munoz is also on the club's radar, but it would appear that Nottingham Forest have stormed ahead for his signature.

There is very little time left of the summer window, so much so that some supporters are beginning to count down the hours, rather than the days.

While Tete, 30, has not been linked in recent weeks, he was a very strong target just 12 months ago before he signed a new deal at Craven Cottage.

He put pen to paper on a new contract until 2028, but with Timothy Castagne first-choice in West London, the Cottagers might cash in.

Kenny Tete would be perfect for Everton

On his day, Tete can be one of the most dangerous full-backs in the Premier League, and he certainly proved that on Thursday, 27 August.

While only against Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup, he impressed massively, even ending the night with an assist to his name.

In 90 minutes, he unleashed six shots, created four chances, the joint-most, completed 75 per cent of his crosses and took 95 touches [FotMob].

All of those figures show off his attacking capabilities, which is exactly what David Moyes is desperate for, while also keeping a clean sheet.

The Dutchman made two tackles, four clearances and four recoveries, as well as winning 80 per cent of his aerial dels and making an interception.

What other positions are a concern for David Moyes?

Up until pre-season, the striker position would have presented a huge worry ahead of the new campaign, but Thierno Barry has sparked into life.

Moyes certainly hasn't built up any confidence with Hayden Hackney, so another midfielder might be ideal, while Jack Grealish's future still remains uncertain.

Manchester City are the latest club to join the race for Iliman Ndiaye, and his departure would absolutely leave the team lacking attacking spark.

However, the main concern needs to be at right-back, especially given the rumours around Jake O'Brien and his potential move across the Premier League.
