Jarrod Bowen next club: Everton odds tumble after approach
Jarrod Bowen has seen his odds of moving to Everton tumble this summer transfer window.
The West Ham United captain has been heavily linked with a move away in recent weeks after their relegation to the Championship.
Football Insider has since exclusively revealed that Everton have made a preliminary move to sign Bowen as he assesses offers from different clubs.
Now, one UK bookmaker has slashed the odds on a move to Everton down to 5/1.
Bowen is expected to depart the London Stadium this summer as he looks to return to the Premier League.
Multiple clubs are chasing his signature, with Everton keen to win the race for the 29-year-old.
Who is the current favourite to sign Jarrod Bowen?
Given Bowen’s impressive record in the Premier League, it is no surprise that multiple clubs are chasing the attacker.
Last season, the winger picked up 20 goal contributions in the top-flight, despite the Hammers finishing the season third from bottom.
Therefore, despite Everton’s interest approach, there is no guarantee that they will be able to secure his signature.
As it stands, Aston Villa are the favourites to sign Bowen at 6/4, followed by Bournemouth at 3/1.
Given that both clubs are playing European football next season, with the former in the Champions League, the Toffees already face a difficult task at completing a potential deal over the coming months.
Chelsea are also considered outsiders at 12/1 as Xabi Alonso looks to form a squad capable of qualifying for the Champions League once more.
Who else are Everton looking to sign?
Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Everton have offered a contract to Liam Delap as they look to accelerate a move for the former England Under-21s attacker.
Chelsea are willing to let the 23-year-old striker depart this summer after a poor first season at Stamford Bridge.
The Toffees are believed to be in pole position to sign the attacker amid interest from numerous clubs this summer.
Delap netted just one Premier League goal after his £30million move to Chelsea in the last summer transfer window.
However, it remains to be seen if Everton are able to win the race for the attacker in the coming months.
