Everton’s response to Tottenham’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall plan revealed
Everton are planning to dismiss any approaches about the potential availability of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old has become a key part of David Moyes’ side and has shown his importance once again since returning from a spell on the sidelines.
Former Spurs scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Tottenham are among a number of clubs keeping tabs on the midfielder ahead of the summer window.
Long-term injuries suffered by James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski have exposed a lack of depth in their side, and Dewsbury-Hall would tick a lot of boxes.
However, Everton are set to block any advances and are doing everything in their power to keep him at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the foreseeable future.

Everton plan to turn down Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall offers
Brown told Football Insider on 18 December that Everton have no plans to sell Dewsbury-Hall despite the rising interest in his signature.
Spurs are not the only club to have been linked with a move, as Man City are reportedly among his admirers, but Moyes plans to keep him as a key part of his side.
“Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has done an outstanding job at Everton,” Brown told Football Insider.
“He was a player I liked when I first saw him play, and I’m not surprised he’s been a success under David Moyes because he brings something new to that team.
“They’ve got a lot of solid and reliable players, but he’s got this ability to run and drive with the ball which not many others in that team have got.
“It takes the pressure off the rest of the team and gives them something else going forward.
“So that’s why the interest is there, Tottenham have been looking at him, for example.
“They want that type of player and feel he would fit the profile if he was available, the problem is I don’t think he’s going to be available.

“Dewsbury-Hall is such an important player for Everton, especially if they’re going to lose Jack Grealish, and it would take a lot for them to let him go.
“I don’t think it’s something they’re going to consider because they’re not in a position where they might have to sell, it’s not like they’re in relegation trouble.
“They’ll be doing everything in their power to keep him at the club.”

Everton join race to sign Harry Wilson
The Toffees’ focus ahead of the summer transfer window is set to be on additions to their squad rather than potential departures as they hope to improve again.
Brown told Football Insider on 10 February that Everton are hopeful of signing Harry Wilson should he become available on a free transfer from Fulham.
However, they will be joined by at least four Premier League rivals, with the Wales international high on the list of a number of top clubs.

The 28-year-old has less than six months remaining on his contract at Craven Cottage, and despite their hopes to extend his stay, is increasingly likely to move on.
The likes of Crystal Palace, West Ham, Bournemouth and Leeds are all interested and will rival the Toffees for his signature at the end of the season.
