Every Everton game Jack Grealish is expected to miss as timeline emerges after injury blow

Jack Grealish is not expected to return to action for his loan club Everton until mid-April after suffering a stress fracture in his foot.

Grealish made the move to Everton on loan from Man City last summer after struggling to make an impact at the Etihad Stadium last term.

A stellar start to life with the Toffees saw Grealish pick up the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for August, and he has continued to be a key figure under David Moyes.

Everton want to sign Grealish permanently in the summer, but his contributions have slowed down in recent months, with one goal and two assists in his last 13 appearances.

He played a full 90 minutes in a 1-0 win against his boyhood club Aston Villa on Sunday, but picked up an issue that is set to rule him out of action for the next few months.

Grealish out for three months with stress fracture in his foot

Grealish was sent off against Wolves on 7 January, so returned to Moyes’ starting eleven for Everton’s trip to Villa last weekend after missing their FA Cup loss to Sunderland.

The 30-year-old thrived off the hostile reception he received from some of the home fans as he helped his side to a vital win, but is now not set to feature for the Toffees for the next few months.

Everton confirmed on Tuesday that he had sustained a foot injury, with a specialist set to review his condition and issue a full prognosis.

Fabrizio Romano revealed, via X, on Wednesday that Grealish will be out for the next three months, after it was confirmed that he has suffered a stress fracture in his foot.

The 10 Everton games that Grealish is set to miss as recovery timeline revealed

Everton will sorely miss a player of Grealish’s talent, with his eight goal contributions in the Premier League being the most of any player in their squad so far this term.

Their plans to sign him permanently have been plunged into uncertainty, and Man City may even be weighing up a decision to recall him if they feel he would benefit from being reintegrated into Pep Guardiola‘s squad towards the end of the season.
