
Ex-Arsenal midfielder heads to Fulham after Crystal Palace deal breaks down
Former Arsenal man Dan Casey has been training for Fulham after talks between the young star and Crystal Palace broke down in October.
Earlier in the window, Fulham saw a bid rejected for Ricardo Pepi, with PSV keen to keep hold of the winger.
Now, the Cottagers are looking at potential additions for the future, with Casey being watched by the London side in the academy.

Casey scored 21 goals from midfield for Arsenal’s U18s and qualifies for Ireland through two Irish grandparents.

Dan Casey training with Fulham’s academy
According to The Talent Hunter via Instagram, Casey started training with Fulham last week.
The 18-year-old midfielder has been a free agent since leaving the Emirates in the summer.
Crystal Palace had been close to acquiring the midfielder in October, but talks broke down when compensation couldn’t be agreed upon between the FA Cup holders and Arsenal.
Now, Casey will be looking to impress for Fulham’s Under 21s, with the youngster coming on for the last 20 minutes in their victory over Ipswich in the Premier League 2.
How good is Casey?
Despitel leaving Arsenal, the midfielder had an exceptional record for their Under 18s last season.
Overall, he netted 18 goals in 21 league appearances for the Gunners’ academy side, in what was a highly successful individual campaign for the youngster.

Fulham have long targeted young players under Marco Silva, and Casey could one day become a star in the Premier League.
However, it remains to be seen if the Cottagers look to make the midfielder’s stay at Craven Cottage a permanent one as he continues to train with the London club.
