Ex-Fifa referee: Collum made major Celtic blunder as controversial footage emerges
There was a foul in the build-up to Jota’s opening goal for Celtic in their 2-0 win over Motherwell, according to Keith Hackett.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Fifa and Premier League referee claimed Kyogo Furuhashi committed a foul as he sprung a counter-attack at Fir Park.
The Celtic striker was deep in his own half and came from behind to force Callum Slattery off the ball but Willie Collum allowed play to continue.

Callum McGregor won the loose ball, before passing to Tom Rogic who played Jota in behind.
Speaking on the BBC’s Sportscene, Richard Foster insisted it would have been a “soft” foul had it been given.
After analysing the footage with Football Insider Connor Whitley, Hackett said: “That’s a foul.
“It’s a long way from goal, isn’t it? He’s missed the foul but that’s not impacted on whether it’s a goal or not. The reason that they’ve scored is the defenders have failed to defend.
“If VAR was introduced, this is a subjective call. Is it a clear and obvious error in terms of impacting on the goal? For me, I think it would have been too far back for VAR to come in.
“That’s down to the guidance that the Scottish FA will give to its referees in the training. They’ll agree on a uniform approach so we’ll watch that with interest.”

The win was Celtic’s second successive away win after their previous victory on the road came in February.
