Ex-Leeds United star issues ‘£40m’ Jack Harrison reveal after source’s update
Leeds United will not sell Jack Harrison to Newcastle United this summer.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the attacker’s future.
Newcastle United tabled an £18million bid for Harrison on 20 July, however, sources updated to Football Insider (21 July) that the Whites had rejected the Magpies’ bid as they want a higher fee.

Harrison has two years remaining on his contract after only joining Leeds on a permanent deal in the summer of 2021.
The permanent deal followed three successive seasons on loan at Elland Road.
However, after the sales of Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha this summer, Kenny claims his former side are in no rush to sell.
“Listen, Leeds don’t need to sell, they have already lost two very high-value players this summer,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They have signed replacements as well, plenty of players have come in and it looks as if the squad is somewhat settled.
“Harrison is a key player there so Marsch won’t want to lose him. We know Newcastle have the money but we have seen they won’t overpay.
“If Leeds are going to hold out for something like £40million then Newcastle will probably walk away, I don’t think they will pay that.
“It doesn’t sound like Harrison is keen to leave either so I can’t see this one happening.”

Harrison scored eight goals in the 2021-22 Premier League.
His goal on the final day against Brentford guided Leeds to safety.
In other news, a medical expert has claimed Leeds United may be forced to sign a replacement for Junior Firpo after latest.
