Ex-manager suggests Bielsa having doubts over Leeds players after what ‘I saw’
Alex McLeish has suggested Marcelo Bielsa may be questioning the strength of his Leeds United squad after an indifferent start to the season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Scotland boss claimed the Argentine would be thinking if the current crop are good enough to take the Whites to the next level.
Leeds have lost to Manchester United and drawn to Everton in their opening two Premier League games.

They were thrashed 5-1 at Old Trafford and had to come back from behind twice in the 2-2 draw with the Toffees.
Leeds did manage to beat Crewe Alexandra 3-0 in the League Cup on Tuesday (24th August).
McLeish suggested Bielsa would want to see an improvement “very, very quickly”.
He claimed the former Lille boss may be having doubts over the strength of his squad.
McLeish told Football Insider deputy editor Russell Edge: “I saw them at Old Trafford. They got a bit outdone on that day, similar to last season.
“At the weekend, a good fightback against Everton.
“Bielsa, underneath everything, I would think he’d say: ‘One point out of six. We need to improve very, very quickly.’
“Has he got the strongest squad to maintain what they did last year, but also to go a wee bit higher? That would be the next question Bielsa will be asking of himself.
“I saw again Raphinha is back in top form again. He looks as if he’s some player.”

Raphinha scored Leeds’ second against Everton with a fierce strike from just inside the box.
The Brazilian netted six times and contributed nine assists in 30 Premier League appearances last season.
