Exclusive: Antonee Robinson leapfrogged by Liverpool’s new top defender target
Liverpool have question marks over the age of Fulham star Antonee Robinson despite his incredible form this season, sources have told Football Insider.
The Reds are lining up a new left-back signing in the off-season with Andy Robertson‘s decline laid bare in the 2024-25 campaign.
Robinson is on the list at Anfield but will be 28 by the time next season gets underway in August.
It is believed Milos Kerkez of Bournemouth, who is just 21, is a more concrete target for Liverpool as they plan their summer transfer business.

Robertson has been rotated with Kostas Tsimikas under Slot this term as the Reds chase success in the Premier League, Champions League and League Cup.
Meanwhile, Robinson has made 28 appearances across all competitions for Fulham this term – skippering the side for much of this season.

The United States international, who is under contract in June 2028, has notched an incredible 10 assists in those outings.
Kerkez, who is also under contract until 2028, has hit three goals and notched four assists in 30 games across all competitions this term.
Liverpool plot two more defender deals
Football Insider revealed last week that Liverpool are also planning to sign a centre-back and right-back in the summer transfer window.
Industry insider Mick Brown has also told Football Insider that Alexander-Arnold is now expected to leave Liverpool in what is being seen as a “no-brainer” of a decision.
The Reds are ready to invest in a new central defender regardless of whether captain Virgil van Dijk commits to a new contract.
