Exclusive: Dundee & Colchester make moves to sign Crystal Palace’s Jadan Raymond
Crystal Palace midfielder Jadan Raymond is a target for Dundee and Colchester in this month’s transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
Raymond, 21, is back to full fitness and Palace are ready to loan him so that he can get valuable first-team action in the second half of the season.
Scottish Premier League side Dundee and League Two Colchester United have enquired about Raymond as they look to add to their attacking options.
Wales Under-21 international Raymond has come through the ranks at Selhurst Park but is yet to make his senior debut for Palace.
The exciting attacking midfielder has been on the radar for a number of EFL clubs in recent times and saw a move to Portsmouth fall through previously.
Crystal Palace youngster Jadan Raymond ready for first-team minutes
Raymond has seen his development hampered by injuries in recent years and a temporary move away from Selhurst Park could be key to rejuvenating his career.
Colchester currently sit 16th in League Two and are looking for a creative midfielder to provide support for star man, Lyle Taylor.
Dundee are also precariously positioned in their league as they find themselves ninth in the Scottish Premiership and the quality that Raymond can offer on the ball could be key to their survival.
Crystal Palace had a slow start to the season after losing Michael Olise to Bayern Munich in the summer, but have recovered recently and are 15th in the Premier League table.

Raymond will be hoping to impress Palace manager Oliver Glasner if he makes the move away in January with a view to first team football at the London-based side on his return.
Raymond may not be the only player leaving Palace this winter as Will Hughes is linked with a number of Premier League rivals.
In other news, Tyrick Mitchell may not be a Palace player for much longer.
