Fulham goalkeeper George Wickens has opened talks to join Lincoln City, sources have told Football Insider.
The 22-year-old has been given the green light by Fulham to leave the West London club and pursue opportunities elsewhere.
League One side Lincoln City have opened talks with Wickens and hope to lure him to the club and provide competition for current ‘keepers Jamie Pardington and Sam Long.
The Cottagers are looking to offload Wickens as soon as possible and earn some cash to help improve their squad elsewhere.
Wickens is said to be open to the move having not yet made a senior appearance for his boyhood club.

He has enjoyed loan spells at National League outfit Wealdstone United and Scottish Premier League club Ross County, making 40 and 13 appearances for each club respectively.

Wickens has also featured for England at youth level, turning out for both the Under-16s and Under-18s.
After an impressive League One campaign in which Lincoln finished 7th, the Imps are looking to capitalise on a strong end to their season and improve their squad.
