Exclusive: Leeds make move to sign Man United rising star Ibrovic-Fletcher
Leeds United have registered their interest in Man United rising star Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher, sources have told Football Insider.
The Old Trafford outfit are open to letting the 17-year-old attacking midfielder leave this month.
Leeds are ready to offer Ibrovic-Fletcher a deal to move to Elland Road.
Ibrovic-Fletcher was born in Leeds and he is a Serbia youth international having represented them all the way up from Under-16s level to Under-19s.
He has been a regular in Darren Fletcher’s Under-18s so far this season but is ready to join a new club to accelerate his development.

Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher’s Man United career to date
Ibrovic-Fletcher signed his Man United scholarship in 2025, joining the Red Devils after a stint with Sheffield United.
In May 2025, he made his Under 18s debut for the Manchester side, coming on as a substitute in their 3-1 victory over Sunderland.
So far this season, he has made seven appearances for the Under 18s, two of which were starts.
While Ibrovic-Fletcher could soon depart Old Trafford, the youngster will still be hoping to become the next big star to emerge from Man United’s academy.
What are Leeds’ plans for the rest of the January transfer window?
Football Insider revealed earlier this season that Leeds were planning on signing an attacking midfielder and a winger this January.
So far, Daniel Farke has achieved one of these goals, with Facundo Buonanotte moving to Elland Road on loan from Brighton after his spell at Chelsea was terminated early.
Therefore, a winger is still needed as Leeds look to avoid relegation back to the Championship.
- Leeds United are currently 16th in the Premier League
- As it stands, they are eight points clear of 18th place West Ham
- However, there is still plenty of the season to go for the Hammers to close this gap
Leeds had been linked with Raheem Sterling in December, with the former England international out of favour at Chelsea.
However, these rumours have since gone quiet, with Liam Rosenior now at the helm at Stamford Bridge.
It remains to be seen if the Peacocks identify a new target for the wing in the remaining weeks of the transfer window as Farke eyes further improvements for his squad.
