Crystal Palace starlet Jesse Derry is free to speak to interested clubs from next week after rejecting a pro deal at Selhurst Park, sources have told Football Insider.

Paris Saint-Germain, RB Leipzig and Atletico Madrid all leading the chase for his signature, with the skilful winger, 17, likely to move overseas when his contract expires at Selhurst Park.

His potential move abroad will come as a major blow for Palace as they will only receive minimal training compensation rather than if he moved to a club in England.

England Under-18 international Derry is highly-regarded, having impressed for club and country at youth level, and his foreign suitors are keen to lure him away from the UK.

However, Football Insider revealed in April that Celtic and Rangers have joined the race for Derry’s signature, and a move to Scotland would allow for a better compensation fee.
