Exclusive: Nottingham Forest to open talks over Hudson-Odoi deal
Nottingham Forest are willing to offer winger Callum Hudson-Odoi an extended contract at the City Ground, sources have told Football Insider.
The 24-year-old will have just 12 months left to run on his Forest deal in June after arriving from Chelsea in 2023.
Nottingham Forest have been proactive in agreeing new deals for their key players during their stunning 2024-25 campaign which sees them set to qualify for the Champions League.
Chris Wood and Murillo have agreed extended deals in recent months and sources say there is a “willingness from all parties” to ensure Hudson-Odoi joins that list.
Hudson-Odoi open to extending Nottingham Forest stay
The ex-Chelsea man is open to prolonging his stay at the City Ground after playing a key role for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in the 2024-25 campaign.
He has made 30 appearances across all competitions this term, notching five goals and three assists.

The pick of Hudson-Odoi’s Forest contributions came last month against Man City – when he grabbed a late winner from the right flank after controlling Morgan Gibbs-White‘s long-range pass.
He scored eight times in the Premier League last term as Forest survived relegation to the Championship and remains a key man following their ascent under Espirito Santo.

Nottingham Forest prepare ambitious Cunha swoop
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (5 April) that Nottingham Forest are ready to show their ambition with a swoop for Wolves star Matheus Cunha.
Espirito Santo’s side could break their transfer record to sign the Brazil international – if they secure Champions League qualification for next season.
The Midlands giants will face stiff competition for Cunha’s signature in the summer transfer window – with the forward available via his £62.5million release clause.
