Exclusive: Sunderland ready new move for Leicester City’s Abdul Fatawu
Sunderland are readying a January move for Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu, sources have told Football Insider.
The Premier League club have held a long-term interest in 21-year-old and explored a move for the attacker in the summer window.
Bournemouth have also been credited with an interest in Fatawu as they seek a replacement for Antoine Semenyo.
Fatawu has started every Championship game for Leicester this season, scoring five goals and providing seven assists.

Abdul Fatawu continues to be linked to the Premier League
Fatawu has consistently been linked with a Premier League move since Leicester City’s relegation.
In the summer, Everton as well as the Black Cats were eyeing a move for Fatawu, but a move never materialised.
Nevertheless, with Sunderland on the hunt for a winger this January, their interest in the Leicester star has been been reignited.
The Black Cats are in surprise contention to qualify for European football this season after a brilliant start currently sees them 10th in the Premier League upon their return to the top-flight.
