
Exclusive: Swansea City respond to Bristol City’s Harry Darling approach
Bristol City have made an enquiry for Swansea City defender Harry Darling, sources have told Football Insider.
The Championship club are in the market for a new central defender with Rob Dickie sidelined with a serious injury.
Darling is in the final year of his contract at Swansea and the Welsh club have rebuffed Bristol City’s approach for the 25-year-old.
The defender has started and finished all three of Swansea’s Championship games so far this season and the Welsh side would be reluctant to let him leave this late in the transfer window.

Since joining Swansea from MK Dons back in 2022, Darling has established himself as one of the Championship’s most reliable defenders.
With 76 appearances, 63 of which were starts, under his belt, the ball-playing defender is one of Swansea’s most consistent performers.

Having completed an impressive 223 successful passes with an accuracy rate of 91 per cent already this season, Darling is just has good with his feet as he is in the air.
Darling has also managed to win 80 per cent of his ariel duels in the Championship so far this campaign.
