West Ham will sell Declan Rice to Chelsea if they are handed £80million in cash, Football Insider can reveal.

The west London club are hot on the trail of the Hammers star man, 21, and have already put together multiple offers to try and lure him from the London Stadium.

As revealed by Football Insider last week, one of those offers involved offering West Ham one or more of Fikayo Tomori, Kurt Zouma and Michy Batshuayi in exchange for Rice.

An Irons source has told Football Insider the club recognise they face a huge battle to keep hold of their prize asset going into next season.

Much will depend upon the player's stance and how keen he is to join a Champions League calibre club.

Man United have reignited their interest in Rice after previously going cool on him.

A bidding war is the best chance Chelsea have of a mammoth fee and Football Insider understands their asking price is currently £80m.

That makes a deal extremely difficult even for a club of Chelsea's riches and especially in the wake of the new signings of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.

Frank Lampard and his assistant Jody Morris are both big admirers of the versatility and pedigree of the England international.

They like the fact he can play in defence and central midfield, and believe he has the potential to play at elite Premier League and Champions League level.

Chelsea are also planning to listen to offers for Jorginho, 28, to raise funds for their other summer signings after he slipped down the pecking order either side of the lockdown.
