Expert: Djed Spence all but certain to leave Tottenham – ‘Conte hasn’t even looked at him’
Djed Spence could join Nottingham Forest or another Premier League club on loan from Tottenham on January.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Spence, 22, has only played one minute of senior football this season, a cameo against former side Nottingham Forest on 8 August.

He is usually featured on the bench in the Premier League but has also failed to make the matchday squad on three occasions.
Wenham is at a loss as to why Spence can’t get a game after again failing to make it onto the pitch against Frankfurt on Wednesday (13 October).
“If he didn’t come on against Frankfurt with 30 minutes to go against ten men, when is he going to come on? Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Emerson has been suspended and Conte hasn’t even given him a look. It would be impossible for me to tell you with a straight face that I see him featuring against Everton at the weekend.
“He came on as a token gesture against Forest because it was Forest. He will play in the Carabao Cup against Forest, I am sure of that.
“Apart from that, if he is not going to feature. Go back to Forest? I don’t know. People have said why didn’t we loan him back to Forest straight away?
“We bought him from Middlesbrough. I think there is a Premier League rule that stops you from buying someone and then loaning them straight to another Premier League club in that same window.

“In January, that could happen and hopefully a Premier League club would take him. He can then play and prove himself at the Premier League level.
“We have to find a loan for him in January otherwise he is just wasting his time.”
