Expert ‘expects’ Tottenham transfer activity to ‘rapidly increase’ after Antonio Conte update
Tottenham will rapidly increase their transfer activity now Antonio Conte looks to be staying at the club next season.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
As per The Telegraph (27 May), Conte will be staying at Tottenham next season after productive talks with Fabio Paratici in Turin.

Paratici has reportedly promised Conte that at least six new players will arrive this summer.
This comes after the club announced on Tuesday (24 May) that owners ENIC had injected £150million into the club via a share issue.
Wenham now expects transfer talk to increase over the coming days.
“I expect as soon as there is news about Conte staying, that’s when we will see offers and bids being made,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He won’t want to hang around waiting to see who is available. It will be bids, bids, bids.
“I expect transfer talk to rapidly increase whenever that news breaks and it will just provide a lift for everyone at the club as well.
“We have all been waiting to hear that he will be staying pretty much since he arrived.
“Having Antonio Conte is such a selling point for signing players too.”

Tottenham return to the Champions League after competing in the Europa Conference League during 2021-22.
They exited that competition at the group stage.
In other news, Tottenham have made a 23-year-old their number one target while stars based in Germany and Spain are also wanted.
