Expert fears ‘big’ Marcelo Bielsa problem will now relegate Leeds United
Marcelo Bielsa may come back to haunt Leeds United this weekend as they look to stay in the Premier League.
That’s according to former West Ham hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider ahead of the Whites’ final day clash against Brentford (22 May).
Leeds or Burnley will be relegated from the Premier League on Sunday after Everton secured their safety with their win over Crystal Palace on Thursday (19 May).

Both teams have the same number of points but Burnley’s goal difference of -18 is essentially worth an extra point compared to Leeds’ -38.
The Whites have conceded 78 league goals this season, an issue that blighted Bielsa’s final months at the club.
McAvennie fears if Leeds are relegated on Sunday, this will be the reason.
“That goal difference has ruined them it doesn’t look good,,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“That was the big problem Bielsa but obviously last season they were scoring a lot of goals as well.
“They are in a position where they can win on the final day but still go down, that’s never ideal.
“Obviously not being in a relegation scrap would be better but that’s where they are. I’ve been in those pressure games, it’s horrible.
“Conceding goals was always the problem, I just hope they can score enough to beat Brentford.
“But the problem is, that might not be enough. I hope for their sake Burnley are beaten by Newcastle.”

Burnley face Newcastle United at Turf Moor after picking up a point from Thursday’s (19 May) clash against Aston Villa.
Leeds had no midweek game as they dropped back into the relegation zone.
In other news, one pundit claims Jesse Marsch will be sacked regardless of Sunday’s result.
