Expert issues Fraser Forster claim as Tottenham deal all but done
Fraser Forster is a “quality addition” to the Tottenham squad with Hugo Lloris unlikely to play every game next season.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 34-year-old’s prospects.
A recruitment source told Football Insider (24 May) that Forster is set to sign for Tottenham on a free after he accepted the club’s contract offer.

The former Celtic stopper‘s deal at St. Mary’s expires at the end of next month.
Lloris, 36, played every minute of the 2021-22 Premier League season but Kenny claims this won’t happen again next term.
“I doubt Lloris will play all of those games again,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They used a different keeper in the cups and Tottenham want to win one of those next season.
“That’s even before you get to the Champions League. Lloris will play in those big games, there is no doubt in my mind.
“He will get injured or he will at least need a rest at some point. So to have Fraser come in, that’s a quality addition.
“I actually think he might end up playing quite a few games for them next season.
“He is proven at the highest level and he’s someone I have always been a fan of. He’s reliable.”

Hexham-born Forster was picked up by Newcastle United as a youngster after playing for the iconic Wallsend Boys Club.
However, he never made a senior appearance for the Magpies, instead being shipped out loan before joining Celtic permanently.
