Expert lambasts Man United amid Sky Sports’ Cristiano Ronaldo update – ‘what the hell is happening?’
Man United are “unravelled” ahead of the new Premier League season.
That’s according to former Aston Villa and Scotland boss Alex McLeish, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future.
On Thursday (28 July) Sky Sports reports Ronaldo, 37, still wants to leave Man United this summer after showdown talks earlier in the week.

The Portugal star has not featured for the Red Devils in pre-season as Erik ten Hag attempts to mould the squad in his image.
McLeish can’t believe this latest update.
“What the hell is happening at United?” McLeish told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild
“Will he stay or will he go? That has been the story all summer. The smart money was on him staying but now this is a complete turn up for the books.
“Who are the people saying this? When you hear stories saying ‘they say he wants to leave’, who are ‘they’? Ronaldo, come and tell us.
“Let’s get some clarity here for Man United fans. The fans will be beside themselves waiting on this new season to see if United have turned a corner.
“You need to do a pre-season as well. Ronaldo can work out in the gym as much as he wants but there is nothing like being out there on the field.

“Of course, a lot of pre-season is about strategy and the coach organising his team. Ronaldo won’t have had that.
“It’s going to be interesting to see how they perform and what they have learned in pre-season but at the moment United look a wee bit unravelled.”
In other news, a pundit has claimed Man United may have to walk away from Frenkie de Jong deal after journalist’s update.
