Expert moots ‘£150m’ Tottenham offer for Declan Rice as ‘unbelievable’ claim made
Tottenham should be making attempts to sign Declan Rice from West Ham.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Rice, 23, has been the subject of major transfer speculation since he burst onto the scene for West Ham during the 2017/18 season.

He has been constantly linked with Chelsea but a move has never materialised.
Wenham claims Tottenham should be targeting players like Rice if they are serious about progressing as a club.
“If we had £150million or something like that, I would go and buy Declan Rice from West Ham, it’s as simple as that,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“This summer we signed the best player from Brighton, the best player from Everton. If you really want to rival the top teams then you sign the players from directly behind you.
“Even if we didn’t sign Rice, if we just asked West Ham how much they wanted for him, I can’t tell you the feathers that would rustle amongst the Premier League elite and other clubs around us.
“Clubs would wonder what was going on. Tottenham would be looking to sign the man who embodies West Ham and putting serious money on the table.
“He is an unbelievable player and would bring so much character to the club.”

Rice has already made 213 senior appearances for the Hammers and became the club captain following Mark Noble’s retirement last season.
He has also been a regular starter for England under Gareth Southgate.
