Expert predicts ‘arrogant’ Pape Matar Sarr to agree Tottenham move after what he’s seen
Pape Matar Sarr’s arrogance may help him to secure a loan move away from Tottenham in January.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Sarr, 20, played 45 minutes off the bench for Senegal against England in the World Cup on Sunday (4 December).

This was the first chance many Tottenham fans had to watch the midfielder after he joined the club in the summer of 2021.
He was immediately sent back to Metz on loan after joining Spurs but the club did not secure him a loan for the first half of the current campaign.
Wenham now hopes a loan move can be found after Sarr’s outing against the Three Lions.
“I was impressed with his arrogance when he came on,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He came on as a 19-year-old and made an impact. He had a few shots and really got involved. I think he has done enough to get that loan in January.
“I think it is clear he isn’t going to play for us this season so we are going to be looking at loaning him out again in January.
“My one concern is that he could be loaned back to Ligue 1. That would be a waste of time, we know he can do it over there, that’s why we signed him.
“He is proven over there. We need to find him a loan in this country so he can work on commanding that midfield.

“He would be far better suited in the Championship so he can get used to English football.
“But I liked what I saw from him and hopefully he caught a few eyes.”
