Expert savages ‘horrific’ Kevin Mbabu after what he saw v Tottenham
Fulham defender Kevin Mbabu was “horrific” against Tottenham and should not start for the club.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Mbabu, 27, signed for Fulham from Wolfsburg this summer and played 61 minutes as a substitute against Tottenham last weekend (3 September).

Wenham was left baffled by the signing after watching Mbabu’s performance against Tottenham.
“Kevin Mbabu, according to people who play video games, is some sort of phenomenal attacking right-back,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He was absolutely horrific against Tottenham. He came on for their American right-back who came off injured, the second he came on he was dispossessed.
“He was targeted by Tottenham as a weak link, I think he is going to be one of these players who may look ok in the Bundesliga but comes over to the Premier League and cannot cut it.
“It’s really interesting, this Bundesliga tax thing. A lot of players who come over just aren’t up to it. I like what Fulham have done.
“I think their signings have been good but Mbabu isn’t at the standard. I do think they will stay up, having watched them.”

Mbabu spent four years at Newcastle before departing in 2017 to join Young Boys.
He only made five senior appearances for the club with only three of those coming in the Premier League.
