Expert tells Declan Rice to sign for Liverpool after source’s reveal – ‘it would be perfect’
West Ham star Declan Rice would turn down a move to Man City to sign for Liverpool.
That’s according to former Hammers hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the midfielder’s future.
On Wednesday (23 November) sources told Football Insider that West Ham now expect to lose Rice to a Champions League giant next year regardless of how their season pans out.

Football Insider also revealed on Sunday (27 November) that Liverpool are working on signing two midfielders in 2023.
Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea are among the Premier League teams keeping close tabs on Rice, 23, who has rejected multiple offers to extend his West Ham contract.
McAvennie claims the lack of midfield options at Liverpool means Rice would play every game, something he wouldn’t do at Man City.
“It would be Liverpool, wouldn’t it?” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“You look at their midfield, there are places up for grabs. Declan could go in there and make it his own, he could run that team for years and years.
“I don’t see him doing that at Man City. Pep rotates so much that I’m not sure you could guarantee him the game time and that’s what will be his major concern when he does leave the club.
“It’s an older midfield as well, they won’t be there much longer. Declan is still a young guy and he has his best years ahead of him, which is actually a bit of a scary thought.

“That’s just how I see it, if I was him I’d go to Anfield. I think it would be perfect.
“I don’t see it working at Man City.”
