‘Fabio Paratici wants new job in England after Tottenham deal ends’
Fabio Paratici has set his plans out for a return to full-time work in football with a contract at Tottenham running down.
The Italian took on a role as managing director at Spurs back in the summer of 2021, having previously worked behind the scenes at Juventus.
Paratici was heavily involved in the transfer business done by Tottenham before he was forced to step down from that role in April 2023, but has continued to be involved in the club in an advisory capacity to Daniel Levy.
That came after the former defender was charged with financial malpractice by the Italian Football Federation over activity his time with Juventus.
Because of that charge, the 52-year-old has been banned from holding a full-time role in football in the interim period.

Fabio Paratici ban almost over
As per a new update from The Telegraph, Paratici’s ban from holding a role in full-time football management is due to end on 20 July.
Meanwhile, it is noted that the Italian is currently working on a consultancy contract with Tottenham, which is not due to expire until the end of August.
As a result, Spurs would not have to immediately hand him a permanent role once his ban comes to an end.
However, it is stated that Paratici is keen to quickly return to a full-time position once his ban has come to an end, with the North London side potentially holding some advantage to secure him to a new deal.
The Italian apparently favours remaining in England to moving back to his home country or heading to Saudi Arabia, opening the door for Tottenham or another Premier League side to secure his services.

Tottenham changes lead to uncertainty
Football Insider Verdict
There has of course been plenty of change at Spurs since Paratici was handed his ban just over two years ago.
The end of the season saw Tottenham sack manager Ange Postecoglou in the wake of their 17th place finish in the Premier League, and despite winning the Europa League.
Brentford boss Thomas Frank was quickly brought in to replace him, but is yet to make reference to Paratici since his arrival.
With that in mind, there may be questions about whether the Italian will remain with Spurs once his ban comes to an end.
There may be some behind the scenes who see this as a chance to go in another direction, although Paratici’s links with the club and desire to stay in England should help in Tottenham want to keep him.
Given the impact this could have in the crucial area of club transfers going forward, many Spurs fans will no doubt be keen to see how this does play out.
