Leeds United are set to continue their January clear-out during the current transfer window with Mateusz Klich "highly likely" to exit Elland Road next, according to a reliable journalist. Yorkshire Evening Post reporter Phil Hay claimed on his

Klich has not been given a fair crack of the whip at Leeds. He seemed eager to play but whenever he did take to the pitch, his performances were nowhere near good enough. At the start of the season, Eunan O'Kane and Kalvin Phillips were in terrific form playing with each other so the Pole's route to the starting line-up was blocked by that. The Ronaldo Vieira's return to fitness added an extra layer of competition for him to beat, but he failed to do it. Klich is a decent player and will be needed far more elsewhere than at Leeds. If the Yorkshire club can recoup the fee spent on him in the summer, they should try to reinvest that in signing a striker.
