Attacker axed in five changes to Rodgers 4-3-3: Celtic best possible XI v Zenit

GOALKEEPER AND DEFENCE

Dorus de Vries (Goalkeeper) – Should keep his place in goals ahead of Scott Bain in his first away European start since conceding seven goals to Barcelona in 2017, he will need to show that he is over that performance
Mikael Lustig (Right-back) – Should replace Cristian Gamboa, showed that he was still effective at the top level with a solid display in the first leg, should be back at right-back and not in a back three on this occasion
Jozo Simunovic (Centre-back) – Should replace Jack Hendry, a big test awaits the 23-year-old who was superb in the first leg, but who at times has been utterly awful this season, particularly in high pressure games
Kristoffer Ajer (Centre-back) – The 19-year-old has already established himself as the Hoops best defender in the three months he has been a mainstay, another big test awaits him against Zenit
Kieran Tierney (Left-back) – Should replace Calvin Miller, likes to get up the wing as much as he does defend and should be encouraged to do so by Brendan Rodgers as the Hoops go for a positive result
